- abstract
- We present our preliminary result on the calculation of $K\rightarrow\pi$
matrix elements using domain-wall QCD within the quenched approximation.
We carefully investigate how well "eye diagrams" can be evaluated by the
U(1) random noise method.
We then compare the quark mass dependence of our result with
that predicted by chiral perturbation theory.
Relating matrix elements for $K\rightarrow\pi$ to those for
$K\rightarrow\pi\pi$ by chiral perturbation theory formula at tree levedl,
we attempt to extract informations for $\Delta I$=1/2 rule and direct
CP violation in $K\to\pi\pi$ decay.
