$K \rightarrow \pi \pi$ decays with domain wall fermions: physical results

abstract
We have done quenched simulations with domain wall fermions for $\beta
= 5.85$ and 6.0 and measured the lattice matrix elements for $\Delta S
= 1$ low energy weak interaction operators. We have also calculated
the non-perturbative renormalization factors needed for these
operators. In this talk, these results, along with others from our
hadron spectrum calculations, are combined to give values for $K
\rightarrow \pi \pi $ matrix elements in physical units. These matrix
elements are then used for a determination of the delta I = 1/2 rule
and epsilon^\prime/epsilon, from quenched QCD using lowest order chiral
perturbation theory. The source and size of systematic and statistical
errors are discussed.
