- abstract
- We report results for the kaon B parameter $B_K$ calculated with
the domain-wall fermion action and a renormalization group improved
gauge action. The main simulations are made
on a $24^3\times 40$ lattice at the gauge coupling $\beta=2.6$
($1/a \simeq$ 2 GeV) and on a $32^3\times 60$ lattice at $\beta=2.9$
($1/a \simeq$ 3 GeV), using the fifth-dimensional length of $N_s=16$.
Systematic investigations are made on the finite spatial
volume effect and the fifth dimensional length dependence at
$\beta=2.6$, employing $(16^3,24^3,32^3)\times 40$ lattices for the former
and $N_s=16,32$ on $24^3\times 40$ lattices for the latter.
Matching of the lattice value to the continuum value is made with one-loop
perturbative Z factors. Scaling behavior and the continuum value of $B_K$
are discussed.
