Bs-Meson width difference from lattice HQET

abstract

We present a recent calculation of the matrix element
<\bar B_s^0|O_S|B_s^0>. This matrix element plays a fundamental role
in the prediction of the width difference in the B_s-\bar{B}_s
system. The calculation of the B_S parameter is extracted from a
high statistic quenched lattice computation with the HQET action
for the b quarks and the improved clover action for the s quarks.
Since the width
difference formula is known at NLO, in order to get the the B_S
parameter in continuum QCD we have computed the matching
coefficient between continuum QCD and Lattice HQET at NLO.
A comparison with recent results obtained with different actions
and methods is presented.
