These hotels provide safe deposit lockers and short term (for a few days) luggage storing facility at no extra cost. For young children, the hotels will provide an extra bed in a double room at a nominal charge. Other chargeable expenses (e.g. drinks, laundry, telephone biils etc.) are not included in the rates above.

The discounted rates listed above are about 20-40% lower than the hotels' regular advertised rates. Accommodation charges will have to be paid through the conference organisers to guarantee these predetermined rates.

These hotels are located about 5-7 kms away from IISc, and within a couple of kms of each-other, reachable from IISc in about 15-20 minutes. Local transport between these hotels and IISc will be arranged by the conference organisers. The locations of IISc, the Seminar Complex and the hotels are marked on this local area map of Bangalore.

Accommodations at guest houses of IISc and other local institutions are limited. They would be reserved for Indian participants and other persons requiring financial assistance.
