Housing is available at the St. John's campus. We will cover all of the housing costs for the participants. Units for family groups (on a first come first served basis) as well as single participants are available. It is unlikely that we will be able to support hotel costs since these tend to be rather high during the tourist season.
There are two types of housing available at St. John's: Suite (shared accomodation / 5 rooms + common room / 5 people per suite) and Apartment (2 bedroom with kitchen, appropriate for families). Kitchen facilities will be available to participants staying in the suites. The housing at St. John's includes breakfast per week-day for each individual.
Upon arriving participants will be able to obtain the keys for their housing from the attendant on duty there. People arriving on Sunday should check in at the switchboard between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. If arriving later than 10:00 pm, try to find a campus security guard; if that fails, page the on-call person at 988 0183. If you think you may arrive after 10:00 pm, please let me know (habib@lanl.gov). Arrivals Monday through Friday 9.00 am to 6.00 pm should go to the Conference Services office in the lower level of Weigle (see main campus map).
My present arrival/departure record for the external participants is given in the table below along with the housing assignments. Please do inform me of any corrections.
