Santa Fe has many restaurants, quite a few of which are rather
good. Aside from New Mexican and ``Southwest'' cooking, international
cuisines that are well-represented include French, Indian, Italian,
Japanese, Mexican, and Spanish -- (Chinese restaurants in Santa Fe are
usually disappointing).
Below is my own, obviously biased, list of recommended restaurants
(I'll be adding some more --).
Recommended Restaurants
Andiamo!, 322 Garfield
St, Phone: (505)995-9595. Good Italian, tends to be
crowded. Reservations recommended. Moderate plus.

with the locals. Burgers, burritos, chile rellenos,
--. Moderate.

magazines, quaff an espresso and listen to aspiring screenwriters at
the next table. Try to look cool. Moderate minus.
El Farol, 808 Canyon

bars in SF. Still has character. Moderate plus.

good). Moderate plus.

good. Moderate.
Il Vicino Wood Oven

good. Moderate.
