Los Alamos National Laboratory is an institutional participant in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey with data rights for all three Core Programs of SDSS-II: Legacy, SEGUE, and the supernova survey. All LANL staff members are eligible for SDSS-II data rights and to become members of the SDSS-II collaboration; in order to access non-public survey data -- in accordance with the LANL/SDSS-II MOU -- LANL staff must first join the LANL SDSS-II Team or LST. To do this, download the LANL SDSS Team membership form, read the SDSS-II Principles of Operation and the Publication Policy carefully, then sign the membership form agreeing that you will strictly follow the procedures outlined in these documents and return the form to the LST contact [currently Salman Habib (MS B285)]. If you have any questions please first read the LANL SDSS-II FAQ. Once you have joined the LST, you will be sent the password to Michael Strauss's SDSS-II Welcome Page, an excellent guide to SDSS-II for new members. |
