Santa Fe Workshop on Nonequilibrium Phase Transitions

Workshop Information

The Santa Fe Workshop on Nonequilibrium Phase Transitions was held on the campus of St. John's College, Santa Fe, July 15 to August 3, 1996. The Workshop was sponsored by the Theoretical Division, the Center for Nonlinear Studies, and the groups T-11 (Condensed Matter Theory), and T-8 (Elementary Particles and Field Theory) at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). There were roughly 70 participants and a variety of topics were discussed, ranging from cosmological phase transitions to self-organized criticality.

Seminars

We have scanned in the transparencies of many of the talks that were given at the workshop (more will be added as they become available). Given the interdisciplinary nature of many of the talks, the organization by topic below is rather ad hoc (an additional check by author name may be helpful).

The files are in postscript format. Since some of them are rather large, caution is recommended when downloading. Hardcopies are available on request. Send email to lweaver@lanl.gov (Leslie Weaver).
