Lattice 2000 starts on August 17 at 9:00 and ends on August 22, 2000 at 12:30. The meeting will take place at the J.N. Tata National Science Seminar Complex, on the campus of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). This Seminar Complex has entrances from both Sankey Road and C.V. Raman Road.

The registration desk will be open at Hotel Ashok during the welcome dinner in the evening of August 16 from 18:00 onwards. From August 17, the registration desk will shift to the Seminar Complex.
Lunch will be served to Participants at the Seminar Complex. Dinner has been arranged for participants and accompanying persons. Information about places and times for dinner will be announced during the meeting.
Lunch and dinner will be available only against the food coupons which you got when you registered. Please do not forget to buy dinner coupons for accompanying persons. These are available at the registration desk on August 16 and 17.
Breakfast will be available at the place you are staying in. Please check there for exact timings.

Buses will take you from your hotel to the Seminar Complex. The schedule of buses in the morning is:

If you miss the last bus please take a taxi. The hotel reception can call radio taxis. Taxis are also available from ranks just outside the main hotels. Taxi drivers know IISc as the "Tata Institute". The ride will cost Rs. 20 (autorickshaw) - 50 (taxi).
In the evening, buses will transport people to dinner and then to their respective their hotels. Accompanying persons are requested to reach the Seminar Complex in the evening by 18:30 so that they can take these buses. The schedule of buses in the evening will be announced during the day.
